About us

Rural Health Equity is led by the University of South Wales. The project will run until December 2027 and involves collaboration with NHS Highland, Change Mental Health, researchers from the University of Dundee and the University of the Highlands and Islands.

Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council [grant ref: AH/Z505559/1], Rural Health Equity explores health inequalities in rural Highland communities and aims to maximise the use of community assets like museums, arts organisations, libraries and natural sites to promote health and well-being.
